  • Guest Post // Anton Abitaev / DTM Moscow Raceway

Anton Abitaev is my friend and motorsport photographer from Latvia. He was kind enough to share some pictures and words in Russian from the DTM weekend at Moscow Raceway. Since he was an official photographer for the track, he got access to the pitlane.

  • ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring 2016

I wanted to go to Nürburgring for a very long time. In 2014 I even accredited to the same 24h race, but was unable to go. This time everything went smoothly and I experienced what is the toughest 24h race in the world. It’s hard in general, so when heavy showers, hail and fog hits the track – it all ads up. Now it was time for the main race.…

In this case it’s best not to turn down the opportunity, which I didn’t – so I packed my bags and went to shoot German Touring Masters for the second time in my life. I like Hockenheimring and how it is situated. Comfortable flight to Frankfurt and…

  • DTM FINALE // HOCKENHEIM / 2013

Exactly one year ago I arrived to Hockenheim for the first time. As it usually is with racetracks — Hockenheimring is situated in a small town where you hardly see buildings more than two storeys high. Track facilities are the largest constructions in the area. I lived in a nearby city Manheim and travelled by train to Hockenheim. As soon as I arrived to the train station, loud and vicious engine noises were coming from the track and were heard everywhere dispite that the track was 2.5km away. DTM practice was on. Session was already ending, but I wasn’t worried, I knew…
