4 Tips To Take Amazing Photos Of Your Car
Read more: 4 Tips To Take Amazing Photos Of Your CarCar photography is a niche by itself, considering the amount of skill and artistic eye you need for it. This includes setting up the car, taking photos, and even editing the image too. Unlike a shoot that involves animals or people, a car might seem to be easier to handle because you can just move it into place and snap away. However, it takes special skill to capture a flattering shot for such a huge, inanimate object. If you are interested in running your own shoot, or if you just want to take a good car photo for your blog…

Volkswagen Museum Wolfsburg
Read more: Volkswagen Museum WolfsburgVolkswagen museum was the last stop on my German car museum tour. Since it’s the only manufacturer that wasn’t located in the South of Germany, I waited for a trip that will at least somehow be close to Wolfsburg. This time I was 400km away, but had a full day free so I went for it. First impression was: people’s museum for the car of the people. Museum is humble, everything is located on one floor. When I say everything, I mean all the Beetles and VW Buses – they take around 50% of the area. Did you notice it?…

Yankee Car Show 2017
Read more: Yankee Car Show 2017Few years have passed since I was at a X-treme Car Show. I was visiting them when they were held in Helsinki, but it’s first time for me that I’ve made it to Lahti. Show is actually split into two: Yankee Car Show for US cars and X-treme Show for tuning goers. I’ll split my report between them as well: first up – Yankee heaven.

1973 Oettinger Beetle 1303
Read more: 1973 Oettinger Beetle 1303Last month I’ve visited the Volkswagen museum in Wolfsburg and after looking at similar VW Bugs for 20 minutes I spotted this monster. It’s claimed to be the widest VW Käfer ever built in Europe (I guess americans have some weird builds) wearing a 2,2m body kit. If my German isn’t completely off, this Beetle is fitted with 345/35 wheels at the back and 225 in front. 2.2L Engine is from a Porsche 911, developing 255 horsepower. Body work is obviously custom made by Oettinger. The 1973 Beetle 1303 chassis is heavily reinforced in order to come with the power.…

Jeep Wrangler X
Read more: Jeep Wrangler XI’m quite a big fan of rugged four-by-fours, so was excited to shoot this Jeep Wrangler, X edition. Car wears this very juicy red colour, so to photograph it with light painting technique was the first thing that came to mind. I played a bit with my Yongnuo YN360 Light Wand before, but this was the first proper shoot that I did with it. I see some mistakes, but in overall, I’m happy with how it came out.

Lightpainting night at Auto Klassik
Read more: Lightpainting night at Auto KlassikThese days we almost have white nights in Estonia, but around a month ago I could play with my Chinese Yongnuo light stick quite early in the evening. I went to Auto Klassik backyard, small local workshop that restores classic cars. Parking area was generously packed with cars that wait for the day they will get fresh paint, their engines rebuild and bodies restored. As a disclaimer, it’s my first time doing light painting, it’s definitely fun, but I feel that there so many things that I can improve, and first of it is my patience. P.S. Last pic is…

Guest Post // Andrej Tkačenko / Steyr 220 Gläser roadster (1939)
Read more: Guest Post // Andrej Tkačenko / Steyr 220 Gläser roadster (1939)Guest post author: Andrej Tkačenko // Facebook / Instagram / Website For me as an amateur-photographer it was a pleasure and honour to do the first photoshoot of this spectacular car right after it was restored. So, what makes this roadster unique? – it is one of few ever made and even less known to exist (only 4 cars are confirmed in 2016) – each of the roadsters differ slightly, unique body and a lot of hand work – almost every line of the car is a complex curve (teardrop shape) – art deco style, not typical for German coachbuilders, its body is…
