Exhibition also consisted of JDM’d cars, european tuners, bikes and some exotics.

  • Art: Olafur Eliasson – Cars in Rivers

    When Reykjavík’s i8 Gallery placed an idiosyncratic call for photographs of cars stranded in rivers, more than 100 photographs were entered. Renowned Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson (born 1967) selected 35 photos to include in the final work. Using these photographs he formed the series Cars in Rivers in 2009.     It was a long winter for me, cold dark winter. My camera was on the shelf all the time and today it was ready for the first Estonian drifting event of year 2015. It was a training day for pro and pro-am drivers and spectators could see what competitors were doing in their garages for past 6 months. Quite a few drivers moved from Street to Pro-am class and also some gathered their strength and will search for luck in Pro competition.
