  • Irish Drift Championship Final // Mondello Park

I’ve been to many drift events over the years, but never to Ireland. Irish Drift Championship was on my map for a while: Paddy from Speedhunters mentioned few years back that Japfest is the event to be at, as well as Emilija just forced me to go to Ireland with her 😀 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1NZLBO10B0 Above all that, organisers prepared something special: two days, three huge events. Irish Drift Championship on Saturday. Drift Masters European Championship on Sunday and Japfest with around 800 cars attending. And above all that, Duane McKeever won all the rounds of IDC and BDC this year and…

  • Drift Masters GP of Latvia 2018

Drift Masters GP, biggest and wildest drift event in Europe. For the 3rd round the show moved to Riga, to the famous Bikernieki circuit. As with previous event I made a vlog together with my usual visual report. Hope you enjoy it and find somthing interesting there. Obviously I’m a noob in the fiend and just try different methods as I go forward. https://youtu.be/Ym_tUPucM1E In terms of photography, I mentioned this on the Wlog, I’m a bit tired of Bikernieki. I come here every year and it’s very hard to produce original content. I push myself and try to go to…

Close proximity drifting, backwards entries and insane cars is what Monster does best on track. Parties, free energy drinks and Monster Girls in the pits and at the concert area is what they’re famous for during the night. Baggsy brought his new GT-R that was revealed only a week ago…

  • History of Drifting at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Drifting is a common sight in most countries these days. Even Charles Gordon-Lennox, Earl of March and Kinrara invites them to pollute his backyard with Asian tire smoke during a classy event called Goodwood Festival of Speed. Drift cars are mixing with F1, legendary Group C Le Mans prototypes and DTM cars just fine. Only difference between three-time Formula D champion Chris Forsberg and Sir Jackie Stewart is that the first one is more accessible and friendly in the paddock area. This year drifting was back to Goodwood hillclimb course for the fourth time, but how did it get “the…

  • How to get sponsors for your Drift Car

    1) Make your car look good, then run well. Polish your shit up (clean and tidy pits, car, etc.) 2) Winning doesn’t guarantee sponsors. Nobody knows when you win. You can guarantee two videos after the event, distribution, etc. Take care of your sponsors. Sponsorship is not about putting a logo on your car. 3) Sponsors don’t need a logo drifting around a track, they need “activation”. There are thousands ways to activate fans, just be creative: from simple giveaways and couponing to test rides and interactions with fans. 4) Be super hard-working hustler 5) Don’t be afraid to do…

  • How to do Social Media if you’re a Drifter aka Social Media Drift Bible

    1) Answer why you need it. Alright, alright, I’ll do it for you: because no one cares about you until you spread the word, engage fans, help fans and sponsors connect with you, sell yourself. The truth is – you’re fucked. People think it’s easy to grow a personal brand with the help of social media, but it’s not true – it’s hard and expectations are usually too high. Don’t take it lightly, I will go through some strategies that will help you grow faster. It’s about building your own community, so you need to rely less on influencers (media).…
