Read more: Gatebil Rudskogen // July / 2015I always try to get new experience and choose those events where I haven’t been before, but I can’t say this about Gatebil – I’ve been to Gatebil Rudskogen festival three times and I’m planning to go next year as well. Event is so diverse that I’m not sure why I keep coming back: is it the atmosphere, or drifting, or socialisation with colleagues? I arrived in the evening on Friday and went straight away to the track, festival program already finished and that meant that Rudskogen circuit is filled with photoshoots. Me and fellow photographer Alex went to say…

Le Mans 24H // Group C
Read more: Le Mans 24H // Group CGroup C was the main Prototype class introduced in 1982. It was live for 11 years, until a change of engine regulations killed it in 1993. In theory any engine was possible. This allowed production engines like V8s from Aston Martin and Mercedes and Jaguar V12s to compete head to head with Mazda’s rotary engines and so on. As it usually is, this provided spectacular racing, produced many great solutions, attracted many manufacturers and spectators. For me it’s a honour that we’re still able to see these late 20th century racing cars on the track, be it a support race for current WEC prototypes or a classic Le…

101 Pictures from the DTM Festival
Read more: 101 Pictures from the DTM FestivalWhen you’re not a full-time motorsport photographer, you face a number of difficulties: you don’t know, will you actually get an accreditation or not, you need to find a publication and, usually, you spend own money on travel. Around 10 days before the event I got an email that I’m approved for DTM at Hockenheimring. In this case it’s best not to turn down the opportunity, which I didn’t – so I packed my bags and went to shoot German Touring Masters for the second time in my life. I like Hockenheimring and how it is situated. Comfortable flight to Frankfurt and…

DTM FINALE // HOCKENHEIM / 2013
Read more: DTM FINALE // HOCKENHEIM / 2013Exactly one year ago I arrived to Hockenheim for the first time. As it usually is with racetracks — Hockenheimring is situated in a small town where you hardly see buildings more than two storeys high. Track facilities are the largest constructions in the area. I lived in a nearby city Manheim and travelled by train to Hockenheim. As soon as I arrived to the train station, loud and vicious engine noises were coming from the track and were heard everywhere dispite that the track was 2.5km away. DTM practice was on. Session was already ending, but I wasn’t worried, I knew…
