    After an action packed Saturday with the Irish Drift Championship battles I had no idea what to expect from the Drift Masters drivers who are much less familiar with the track.     Drift Masters GP, biggest and wildest drift event in Europe. For the 3rd round the show moved to Riga, to the famous Bikernieki circuit.   • Monster Energy at Gatebil Rudskogen festival

    Monster Energy supports Gatebil festival for many years now by bringing together international drift and motorsport stars. This year Gatebil veterans like Luke Woodham and Dmitriy Illyuk were joined by Sultan Al-Qassimi, Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni and off-road star Casey Currie. Guys try to put a show on and off track.     Drifting is a common sight in most countries these days. Even Charles Gordon-Lennox, Earl of March and Kinrara invites them to pollute his backyard with Asian tire smoke during a classy event called Goodwood Festival of Speed.     Just before the current trip to Gatebil I realised that this would be my fifth time at the event. A small anniversary then. So why do I keep coming back?
