  • WRC Neste Rally Finland 2017

Last time I’ve visited a World Rally Championship event around 5-6 years ago. Back then it was still Sebastian Loeb collecting rally wins and championship titles, but oh boy how it changed. 2017 is a different game overall. It’s a rookie fest out there in terms of drivers, only veterans competing are Ford’s Sebastian Ogier, Toyota’s Jari-Matti Latvala and Hyundai’s Dani Sordo. Toyota brings “the Flying Finn” phenomenon back to trend with running a Finnish trio: Jari Matti, Esapekka Lappi and Juho Hänninen. Ogier’s teammate is young Estonian Ott…

Héléna el Mokni is one of the most talented rally photographers. She puts a lot of character in her pictures. I had the opportunity to talk and meet her. We discussed WRC, love for film, print and Italian comedy. – Where are you from? – I’m from France, I was born in Grasse and grew up in Antibes. I really enjoy this cosy area. – What are you working on at the moment? – As you know this is the end of the year so I have plenty of time to relax and to focus on different things. I’m working on a new…

  • MY TOP 5 RACING STREAMS

I belong to a generation that watches news, different events and plain entertainment on Internet rather on a TV. I’m used to the idea that most of the action can be watched LIVE online. Here I made my personal Top 5 chart of the online racing streams I follow. 1) NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series This one is probably my favourite, even though I can’t check it live. Event is usually uploaded on the next day. The fact that it’s not live actually makes it even better, I’m able to fast-forward the slow parts: pre-staging, interviews, etc. American drag racing is…
