It’s about the scale: show is compact, but the number of exciting cars is 10 times more than on a normal car event, because every builder (gluer? š ) wants to put together a great kit with history. In one room I was able to experience half of DTM history, see rally cars from every era, look at modern and historic Formula 1 cars and many more. Read more: Hot Wheels Convention Germany 2017This weekend I visited my first ever Hot Wheels Convention. It was held in Germany – my favourite country for motorsport photography. This time it wasn’t the case, I limited myself to a small indoor hall, instead of Hockenheimring or Nordschleife. Event is relatively small, but positively humble – guys prepare convention cars (that sadly I couldn’t get, because of limited amounts and “members-get-served-first rule”), organise customs’ contest, have fun on a HW race course, mingle and, of course, sell and trade Hot Wheels models. Scale of the meet speaks for itself, spreading everywhere around Haapsalu town. Official show is held inside a castle, but very often you’ll find more legendary cars on the streets. Read more: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017 // Formula 1Goodwood Festival of Speed has a stunning line-up every year, but this time it was so much concentrated on Formula 1 and open seaters because the celebration of Bernie Ecclestoneās legacy as well as Ferrariās 70s anniversary. Niki Laudaās legendary cars, Ayrton Sennaās, James Huntās, Derek Bellās, Emerson Fittipaldiās, Nico Rosbergās – everything was there. Full evolution of F1 car was on display. Pre-war single seaters, lightly pushed down with wings, aerodynamic era cars, turbocharged 1200+ hp monsters, amazing V10 vocal racers and modern almost silent cars, as well as Formula E. Stancest’17 // Lowlifer / Space X
Read more: Stancest’17 // Lowlifer / Space XAnnual Stancest event, organised by Lowlifer Car Club, was the best one so far. Weather was much better than previous year as well as the location: Space X center in Ulemiste City fitted best cars of the show, as well as the territory next to it was cozy and chill. Exhibitions itself definitely improved, bringing more international cars as well more sponsors. Hereās my take on the event with this fast edit. American Car Show // Helsinki / 2017
Read more: American Car Show // Helsinki / 2017Already a number of years I’m starting my photography season with a fast trip to Helsinki for American Car Show (actually show consists of four exhibitions: american cars, tuning, motorbikes, motorsport) and every year I’m hating the fact that it’s always on same dates with Elmia show in Sweden.. Where will I go next year, oh, who knows. Enjoy!
