  • Jeep Wrangler X

I’m quite a big fan of rugged four-by-fours, so was excited to shoot this Jeep Wrangler, X edition. Car wears this very juicy red colour, so to photograph it with light painting technique was the first thing that came to mind. I played a bit with my Yongnuo YN360 Light Wand before, but this was the first proper shoot that I did with it. I see some mistakes, but in overall, I’m happy with how it came out.

  • Audi Museum / Ingolstadt

Audi Museum in Ingolstadt was the last car museum I visited in previous year. During 2016 I’ve been to Porsche and Mercedes museums in Stuttgart, and BMW museum in Munich. Four rings branded museum is not as big or technically advanced as the rest, but it does feature all four brands that associated with Auto Union – Horch, Audi, Wanderer and DKW. A little consumer side note: ticket costs only 2EUR. I didn’t know that and was a bit ashamed when asked for a media pass, which by the way they don’t have. You can dive quite deep into their pre-war…

  • HGK Drift Challenge 2017

HGK Motorsport with Kristaps Bluss in particular made the best drift showcase event there is. Beautiful sunny day, action from the early morning and unforgettable battles. Exclusively for the blog I went a bit more behind the scenes/behind the backs/behind the track to show you some portraits, snaps and outtakes. Sadly I couldn’t take more pictures of Dennis Häggblom’s S2000, since he made a mistake in Top 32 and he took the role of spectator. S2000 is sicker than it ever was, proudly wearing that new carbon body. Composite materials was the unofficial theme of the event – three HGK…

  • Stancest’17 // Lowlifer / Space X

Annual Stancest event, organised by Lowlifer Car Club, was the best one so far. Weather was much better than previous year as well as the location: Space X center in Ulemiste City fitted best cars of the show, as well as the territory next to it was cozy and chill. Exhibitions itself definitely improved, bringing more international cars as well more sponsors. Here’s my take on the event with this fast edit. Separate shoots with some of the best cars will be published later 😉

Each year, hundreds of thousands of cars change hands, and it is no doubt that a lot of people end up being confused about cars and require clarity regarding the purchase of their first car. One of the most confusing aspect while buying cars, first time or otherwise is its financing. • Lightpainting night at Auto Klassik

These days we almost have white nights in Estonia, but around a month ago I could play with my Chinese Yongnuo light stick quite early in the evening. I went to Auto Klassik backyard, small local workshop that restores classic cars. Parking area was generously packed with cars that wait for the day they will get fresh paint, their engines rebuild and bodies restored. As a disclaimer, it’s my first time doing light painting, it’s definitely fun, but I feel that there so many things that I can improve, and first of it is my patience. P.S. Last pic is…
