    With hundreds of pictures from the glamorous Monterey Car Week currently buzzing all around the Web, it’s a good time to feature a review of a much smaller, local Concours d’Elegance event held annually in the quiet village of Mondorf-les-Bains south of Luxembourg.   • CAR PORTRAITURE 2014

    Every year I try to plan 3–5 big international events where I go and make motorsport photography. This year it was Le Mans 24H race, Gatebil Rudskogen Festival, Drift Allstars GP of London, Nitro Nationals European Dragrace Championship and Supermoto World Championship. In between I have time and desire to photograph some staged car shoots. I don’t do a lot of them. It requires energy, scheduling and aspiration from owners.
