It’s finally something fresh on the blog, by fresh I mean – pictures that are taken in 2018, not taken from my dusty archive (where are still plenty of things to show). This weekend I went to Helsinki, for the Kustom Kulture show that was held at Helsinki’s top artsy location – Cable Factory.
I still have warm feelings about the Japanese Mooneyes event and was looking forward to dive deeper into a more local custom scene.
Me and my friend Misha, who is t-h-e Hot Wheels collector in Estonia went on Sunday, because it was the day of a swap meet that was organised in the second hall. We got lucky indeed and scored some new models for our walls. Other, more serious people, were scoring vintage car parts, memorabilia and funky outfits.
Show itself is not very big, it’s meant to be more of a custom car culture gathering, so the amount of pin stripers, builders and other related folk was outnumbering the cars & bikes presented.
One of the first cars I noticed was this Ford. h my, how I want to see it in action, ramming through Finnish winter wonderland.
That my eyes stopped at this, quite unique and respected buggy.
Quite a lot of cars I’ve seen in the past, but some were just made or still not completely finished.
Here is to 2018, another year of me wanting to become great photographer and connect my life with cars has started.
