  • Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2017 // Gracious Pickups

    Chevrolet stopped producing El Camino the year I was born. Chevy pickup went through five generations and all of them were on display at this year’s Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show, although every vehicle was “slightly” customised. It was another spotlight of the show, next to the “Taste of Deuce”. There’s great hype for these vehicles and Japanese love them. Personally I’m quite sure that Chevy will resurrect the name sooner than later.

  • Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2017 // Taste of Deuce

    Welcome reader to what is the first instalment from my series of posts from Japan. It’s also only one of four posts that will feature the one & only Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show. Show is held annually and this year organisers celebrated 26th running of it. Mooneyes owner Shige Suganuma is responsible for keeping it great year after year. Show always has themes or spotlights as they call them, this year one of them was celebrating 85 years of the Deuce, also known as Ford 32, the ultimate hot rod.
